Before starting his career, he completed his graduation in Mechanical Engineering from James Watt Technical College. He pursued his masters in Mechanical Engineering at Stafford University. He started his career with IBM as a procurement manager, where he was responsible for managing the outsourcing of different motherboards for IBM PCs. Later he joined QMS as Director of Engineering and took care of a team with more than 100 hardware and software development engineers.
According to Bloomberg, Brian Bonar joined Rastek Corporation as Vice President with sales and marketing responsibilities. He took special attention to the global sales of printing technology of the firm. After four years of service, he joined Adaptec as a Sales Manager with functions including establishing and retaining good rapport with major printer manufacturers in Japan and Korea to ensure their increased support to the firm.
In 1994, he founded Bezier Systems, a firm produced first SCSI printer. Later, he started working with Itec Imaging Technologies as Vice President, with responsibilities of sales and marketing. He also worked with Allegiant Professional Business Services as President, with responsibilities from insurance product relationships to sales and marketing.
In 2006, Brian Bonar founded AMS Outsourcing a Professional Employer Organization (PEO) firm, to provide services to various clients and industries. In 2011, he founded another firm called Trucept to provide insurance services, temporary staffing, and PEO services to different clients in the industry.
Currently, he holds the CEO position in Trucept along with Dalrada Financial Services. He takes care of the daily operation of Trucept and helping it to identify new opportunities.
