How Doe Deere Does Her Mornings

Doe Deere, like many successful people, has a strict morning routine. She wakes up every morning at 8:30 a.m. and starts her day with a glass of water to keep hydrated in the dry Lose Angeles air. After her glass of water, she likes to do her stretches. Then she has breakfast in her kitchen. Her favorite breakfast is grits, but she also enjoys fruit and yogurt with a glass of freshly squeezed orange juice. She gets her oranges off of her very own orange tree.

She likes to take a moment to look out her kitchen window to reflect on the coming day and then she checks her calendar on her phone to see what to expect form the day. She touches base with her team and checks her emails then tries to leave herself some time to think and let the creative thoughts stream in.

Next, Deere likes to begin her beauty routine as she listens to her favorite music. She has been recently listening to The Beatles. She listened to Abbey Lane growing up and it brings back memories.

She always starts off her routine by using her Glossier face wash and then moisturizes with her Murad moisturizer. Then she applies her L’oreal foundation or, if she’s planning on going out, her MAC Studio Fix. She is working on creating her own foundation for her Lime Crime line. Next, she sets her foundation with powder and fills in her brows before moving onto her lips and cheeks. She normally goes for pink or red blush and bright reds or pinks for her lips. She normally wears Rustic or Pink Velvet from her Matte Velvetine collection. Deere always showers at night so her hair is dry in the morning and ready to curl. Deere will spend anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour on her beauty routine, depending on if she is in a hurry or if she needs to look extra glam. Her beauty routine’s a way for Deere to feel free.

She likes to spend time with her Persians, Puffy Fluffles and Chester von Battingham, before going to the office. She normally arrives at the office around noon and has lunch while she socializes with her team and holds meetings. Rights Belong to Everyone

Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin are co-founders of the Lacey and Larkin Frontera Fund. Both men are also the co-founders of the Phoenix New Times and Village Voce Media. These men are extremely active in the Phoenix area and tries to help protect immigrants and fight for them to get all the rights awarded to American citizens.

Lacey and Larkin’s were both involved in an incident with the Sheriff of Maricopa County. During an investigation on the Maricopa County Sheriff, Joe Arpaio, the guys wrote a few articles for Phoenix New Times about the Sheriff and the juries read them. This enraged Sheriff Joe Arpaio and led him to arrest both Lacy and Larkin’s.

The men were arrested in the middle of the night, dragged out their homes and jailed over these articles. The Sheriff’s department and court officials were so upset that they even questioned the juries and demanded that they tell them who else has read the articles and they wanted full names. Michael Lacey and Jim Larkin sued the Maricopa County Sheriff department due to being falsely arrested and on October 18, 2007 the men received a settlement of $3.75 million dollars.

Since the two journalists had already been fighting for the rights of immigrants, it was only right that they used the settlement money to fund multiple immigrant foundations and create their own ‘The Frontera Fund”. The guys main focus is to support foundations and support groups who work to fight for civil, human, and immigrant rights along with the freedom of speech and civic participation in Arizona.

Lacey and Larkin likes to fund groups fighting for civil and human rights and they should check out what’s going on in Missouri. The American Civil Liberties Union and the Advancement Project along with the NAACP and the League of Women Voters of Missouri has band together to get a law banned that is preventing voters to vote.

Missouri has a law in place where voters are required to have a Photo I.D to vote and they are always requiring birth certificates. Missouri is also reportedly not giving out free voter education or free voter ID cards. Also, to make problem worst, with this law,

Missouri has not trained employees on how to properly handle all the requirements to vote. The lawsuit was filed in the Cole County Circuit Court in Jefferson City by this collaboration of civil and human rights groups in hopes to get the ban on the law before it is time for them to hold elections in July. Learn more about Jim Larkin and Michael Lacey: and

The civil groups are scared that this law can sway voters not to vote if they do not have the proper paperwork or even if they do, just the hassle of going through a whole procedure to vote can turn anybody away. Also, this law is going to affect immigrants who do not have all this paperwork and document which some do not and the poor who cannot afford a state ID but still want to vote.
